Currently, I have just finished adding an entire new section called
ALL PROCEEDS of the "Think Pink" sales will be donated directly to a fund for a friend who is newly diagnosed with an invasive, aggressive form of breast cancer. Ironic that she should be diagnosed during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ironic that she is about my age, with no known risk factors, other than that she is a woman with breasts. It is just one more example of WHY we should not only be AWARE, but why we should HELP. It could be you. It could be me. It could be anyone. I think I read somewhere that 1 in 8 women will have the disease. ONE IN EIGHT. Without a doubt, someone you know and love WILL BE AFFECTED.
To help, consider purchasing some of my "Think Pink" Cafe Press Items, and also, consider purchasing a new font that will go up for sale at Two Peas In A Bucket on November 1st called, "2Peas Think Pink". Again, all proceeds I receive from the font sales will be donated to a fund for this friend in her battle for survival. And then, WHEN SHE WINS THE BATTLE, the remainder of the proceeds I receive will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. If you like to make cards, there is a collection going on of inspirational, uplifting cards to send to this friend during her battle. If you haven't heard the details from Heather, and would like to contribute to the card-a-day collaboration, please email me! Also, a fund is being organized to provide meals for the family via a local meal-making-and-delivery service. I'd be happy to point you to the person in charge of that, too, if you are interested in helping. :)
I'll have more Scrapbooking-Related designs coming soon....they're drawn, but not all formatted in my shop....whew....that takes time to organize all that stuff! But I'll post my new goodies when they're ready. :)
