chiding
i thought about how i
feel
watching him sleep
cradling that intimate
moment
yearning
longing for a pause button
on childhood, realizing
opposition
means i'd long for a fast-forward
sometimes, too
and i hug him

also, for any of you locally, here is the information on her memorial service
that will be here in washington state:

Wednesday, Jan 16th at 11:00a.m. at the Puyallup Stake Center, 512 Valley Ave, Sumner WA, 98370

even if you didn't know kristy, i encourage you to take a peek at her memorial blog here for
some uplifting words and anecdotes.  it is being continually added to by friends and family members,
even by complete strangers that are just moved and inspired by the kind of person she was
here on this earth.

she truly was a beautiful force to be reckoned with.  :)

how you can help:

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a fund set up to support the children. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo branch in the name of Brandon and Carter Ragsdale.
